You Are Worth More Than That!!!

You deserve people in your life who WANT to be there!!! Nobody wants to be alone, but sometimes that is exactly what we need. Have you ever been around people you know don't like you, but you just wanted company? Have you ever settled for any company just to not be alone?

If you answered yes, trust me you are not alone! A lot of people think just because I am a woman I only see it from one side however that is far from the truth. Just as much as we women don’t want to settle, I’m sure men feel the same way. I have plenty of male friends that are single and married, and their answers are the same…….Having any company is not better than having no company at all. I have realized most people would like to simply just have peace! Peace can come in so many forms…..reading a book, listening to music, knitting, sitting at the beach, sewing, watching a movie or catching up on a series…..All of these things can bring so much peace to anyone yet there are times when that isn’t enough.

Who really wants to be disrespected just so they do not have to be alone? To deal with someone who thinks you owe them something just because yall “talk” occasionally is wild to me. You have a girlfriend, fiancé, or wife but want someone else to be laid up on the phone giving you attention when she won’t??? And women can fall in that category too…..yeah I see you too lol. Why would I compromise my peace and quiet time to be arguing with someone, especially if they not my man?????? Chileeeee please move around!

I have been there and done all of these things I have mentioned so do not think I am pointing fingers or judging anyone! The purpose of these blog post are to talk about the things most people are too scared to, won’t talk about, or simply handle in silence! Just like me you also deserve to be surrounded by those who love and appreciate us. I will no longer tolerate toxic energy in my space…..AT ALL! And neither should you. Family (blood or created), friends, associates, business connections, or otherwise are no exception to that either 🤷🏽‍♀️.

We have to get to the point in our lives that we are secure in ourselves enough to love our OWN company. Find things that you love doing and go do them…..even if it means doing them alone. When was the last time you took yourself on a date? Not going to a drive thru but sitting down in a restaurant and treating yourself the way you know you want and deserve to be treated. Bought yourself something nice? Not a clearance item either but something that you have been wanting for yourself??? Looked in the mirror and told yourself all the things you want someone else to tell you??? You deserve so much more than waiting on someone to give you what you are capable of giving yourself! Lift your head up boo and know YOU DESERVE MORE‼️
