Hello Alice is back with another grant!!!
L’Oréal’s mission is to create the beauty that moves the world. Critical to this mission is supporting the small businesses who play a key role in helping to deliver beauty products and services to consumers across all backgrounds and lived experiences. In 2021, recognizing that beauty businesses owned by historically excluded and marginalized people were being significantly affected by the economic fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic, L’Oréal USA partnered with the NAACP to award 33 grants to beauty entrepreneurs and business owners who had been most acutely impacted. In addition to the grants, L’Oréal provided grantees with professional business development support from its leading beauty brands and its professional beauty products distributor, SalonCentric.
Now in 2024, L’Oréal remains committed to leveling the playing field and advancing equitable opportunities in the beauty industry. In collaboration with GlobalGiving, L’Oréal is supporting the NAACP Empowerment Programs by awarding an additional twenty (20) grants of $10,000 each to entrepreneurs in the beauty industry. Applications are open now through March 29, 2024. Preference will be given to entrepreneurs of color.
